I didn’t do everything myself. I did seek help. But I came across some internet marketing gooroos for whom the only aim was to extract the monies and make a profit for themselves.
Some of them portray bad business tactics which sometimes gave me short-term results, but didn’t work in the long term and led me to business failure.
That brings our conversation to tactics and strategies. As you know, tactics drive short-term results, strategies bring long-term results.

Sorry to be so blunt, but if we don’t clearly outline the problem, we can’t solve it.
The primary reason for my early failures in business was because I followed many of these bad online marketing (so-called) gooroos. They either overwhelm you with a lot of information, or ask you to buy tools, or else give tactical advice and ignore some of the basic principles essential to succeed in business.
That’s one of the reasons that I went until near-bankruptcy after I gathered a lot of debt failing consecutively in the 5 different online businesses I tried. After, spending over $25,000 on multiple courses, and mentors. I finally knew how to seek the right mentors and I finally learnt the basic principles necessary to build an online business.

Mentorship, coaching, and seeking external help is great because you shortcut your way to success in whatever you are trying to do. But you need to find the right mentor, coach, or consultant as well.

I Systemized How I Created My 6-Figure Consulting Business, Here’s How…
Starting a business and getting your first few customers is one of the toughest things to do on planet earth. There will be a lot of internal objections, a lot of things to do, to create your website, to post on social media, to show up every day and do a lot more stuff.
After I tried following various systems and wrong advises. I finally figured out a way to do it the right way. Below you can see the exact steps I took to build a consulting company on the side while I was still at my day job.
The High Ticket Consulting Client Machine System
Step #1: Target Profile Research
At this stage, I had to understand my market in detail. I chose to serve the coaches and speakers market.
I needed to have a clear understanding of their:
- Behavioural Psychographics
- Buying triggers.
This step I took, allowed me to create a product and an irresistible offer that will appeal to my target audience.
Step #2: Signature Packaging
At this stage, I already knew what my target profile is looking for.
In this step, I created a service that will serve my target audience at the highest level.
I packaged my service, in a way that gives them the ideal result. It became unique, appealing, and also the value went much higher.
Additionally, I was able to charge a packaged price instead of an hourly rate.
Step #3: Market Validation
This is the most important of all the steps.
In this step, I validated whether the package I put together is appealing for my ideal customers or not.
Money is the only form of validation. Your ideal customer should buy from you.
That’s when it’s validated and that’s when you go to do scalable things. Like building a website, or marketing funnel.
Step #4: Value Bomb System
I put together a 3 Step Online Marketing System called AC² System. A 3 Step Online Marketing System to get you leads and customers.
It involves 3 stages in generating leads, capturing their information, and converting them into paying customers.
When it comes to the Value Bomb System, it’s all about implementing the ATTRACT stage of AC² system.
The Value Bomb System is beyond just posting on your blog. I have a systematic process to do content marketing.
Content marketing is the only reliable and sustainable strategy for success in online marketing.
The Value Bomb System ensured that I am seen as an expert, stand out from the competition, and position myself as an authority.
Content marketing can also help in nurturing existing leads into paying customers. And it’s a never-ending process.
Step #5: Lead Maximizer System
This is the CAPTURE stage from AC². Here I capture the leads and hold their attention so that I can nurture them into my ideal customers.
In this step, I built a tribe of potential customers, leads, prospects, and started building relationships with them.
Capturing their information is a way for me to get in front of my leads, again and again. The capture mechanism could be in multiple forms:
- An Email List
- A Facebook Messenger Bot Subscription
- A Facebook Group
- Facebook Friends List
- and there are much more options
The source of leads can be through:
- Organic Marketing
- Paid Marketing
- Joint Venture Partners
The goal of this stage is to capture leads and nurture them and push them to the next step which is the sales system.
The Value Bomb System, Lead Maximizer System and the Sales Maximizer System will work in synergy to produce a never-ending loop of leads and customers.
Step #6: Sales Maximizer System
The 3rd Stage in the AC² system is CONVERT. This step is all about implementing the 3rd Stage.
There are multiple ways to convert leads into paying customers/clients.
- Strategy Sessions
- Webinars & Seminars
- Email Automation
- Sales Funnels
Now when it comes to sales. Not all the leads would be ready to buy the core offering.
So, I needed to have multiple product offerings that can convert my leads into paying customers.
I call this concept as the Product Matrix.
For those who can’t afford to work 1-on-1 with you, they could join a lower priced scalable group implementation program.
And for those leads who can’t afford to buy a group implementation program, they can buy a course or a book or even a report.
